ELECTRICAL ENGINEER II

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Design control systems for mill equipment Develop and manage projects for equipment installation and preventative maintenance Analyze manufacturing equipment for opportunities to improve reliability as measured by such items as reduction in frequency and volume of repetitive failures
•Reduce downtime incidents Assist with machine repair troubleshooting Develop preventative/predictive maintenance programs for new and existing equipment
Education & Experience Requirements:
•5 or more years experience, Paper industry experience preferred.
•B.S Electrical Engineering (B.S. Engineering Technology also considered).
Skill & Knowledge Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and in-depth knowledge of electrical principles (power distribution, low and medium voltage, AC and DC motors and drives)
•Through knowledge of traditional machine controls and well as PLC, HMI, and distributive control systems.
•Familiarity with relevant codes: NEC, OSHA, and ANSI Ability to use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment
•Excellent leadership, communication & facilitation skills along with a strong analytical tendency.
•Well organized and able to lead project team and forecast workload to meet project schedule
