Successful candidate will be the driving force in Safety and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives in the plant andin the converting or corrugatordepartment. Primary responsibilities are Safety, Production efficiencies, Housekeeping, Quality and Waste for his or her shift. Ideal candidate must have the ability to plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints and issues; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results on daily basis.


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree Preferred

Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years supervisory experience withincorrugated converting manufacturing environment (corrugated industry required). Must be willing to work any shift. Must be able to work overtime as required.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities: Strong leadership skills; able to motivate teams to exceed expectations. Strong interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills.

Proficient in MS Office and KIWI. Strong communication, planning and organization skills. Ensure that minimum quality expectations are followed and met on daily basis. Ensure best practices are being followed for minimization of waste at machine centers.

Track continuous improvement of under performing machine centers weekly and provide action plans for gap closure.

Ensure strict adherence to plant safety, housekeeping and 6S efforts.

Identify repairs needed at machine centers and create work requests for completion; follow-up as required.
